We
currently have four duck properties, which are planted in grain crops to help
insure consistent waterfowl activity.
We
work hard to manage these properties so that they can be hunted successfully
throughout the season.

BLANCHARD DUCK PROPERTY
This property is over 100 acres
and is located to the North of Edison on Chuckanut
drive. We plant 35 acres in barley, corn and millet. The rest stays in grass.
There is a beautiful duck pond with one of our aluminum pit blinds. The
picture to the right only includes the area that we plant.

KNUTSEN BAYFRONT DUCK PROPERTY
This 38
acre property borders the North end of the state Samish hunting grounds. This
is typically a high producing duck property for the first half of the season.
It will be planted in corn, millet and barley. This off season the pond will
be expanded and the pit location moved to the south edge of the pond.

HART ISLAND DUCK PROPERTY
This is
smaller property in a great location.
It is surrounded by incredible habitat including the Skagit River. It is also very near the Johnson Debay Swan Reserve, which holds a lot of ducks.
This
property will be planted in barley with some corn areas for concealment.

SQUIRES DUCK PROPERTY
This
property is 100 acres of prime bay front property. It is the flyway between Samish and Padilla Bays.
We
plant oats, corn and millet on this property. There are several ponds on the
property. This property can
easily hunt two or three groups at a time.
